About Square Invoices
Square Invoices is a cloud-based invoice generation solution which allows sellers to create, send, and track customizable invoices for free, and process customer debit and credit card payments. The platform can be used by any merchant needing to accept remote payments, including retailers with wholesale, service-based business, and restaurants offering catering services.
With Square Invoices, users can select items to create invoices without needing to manually enter or recheck cost amounts. Invoices can be sent directly to customers via email, and users can also print paper copies as required. Users can customize invoices with company logos, color schemes, and default ‘thank you’ messages or terms or service. Customers can pay invoices in person, by check, or online using their debit or credit card, and are not charged any fees for making payments. Customer card details can be stored securely on file to streamline the payment process for future invoices. From the Square dashboard, users can track the status of all sent invoices, and send payment reminders for unpaid or overdue invoices. Payment analytics also give users insight into how their business is performing.

Automated invoicing made easy

Pros
I can set up a new customer 1 time and invoices are sent automatically each month. This saves me a tremendous amount of time that allows me to provide more attention to my customers.
Cons
When invoices are sent via email, they are occasionally sent to a recipient's junk folder. I typically send the invoice, then call the customer to make sure they've received it. I'm not sure how to get around it, but it'd be nice knowing invoices won't get filtered on the receiving end.

Square invoices make it so my small business presents very professionally. We can also send the invoice in whatever format the customers prefer (text, email, and print) and take multiple payment types. And the reporting makes it very easy to see what's coming up, overdue, or paid.
Pros
I love that I can easily convert our restaurant/bar tabs to invoices or have customers pay their invoice through our point of sale. It makes it so easy to keep track of orders and accounts receivable. The invoices look professional and can be sent via text, email or printed out.
Cons
I don't have any issues with the product, I have been using it for 3 years with no issue.

Pros
Love the online invoicing capabilities it has so far.
Love the phone app so far.
Cons
Relationship between app and online web access need major connection improvements.
Editing capabilities of the line item in invoice statement need to be editable.........

So far I like using Square invoices for my small business. My partner who manages the orders likes it too.
Pros
What I liked most about Square invoices is how payments can be taken with the invoice link. I can send an invoice for orders to the customer and if they can pay on the website thru the attached link.
Cons
There is a learning curve but overall I think it is good as far as being very professional with the invoices we create for our customers.

Pros
Its just so easy to use. I like the fact you can select the items from the library, it just makes it quick and easy to set up invoices. Also like you the fact you can add one off times like postage and the reminder for invoice payment is another great feature. Great user interface also!
Cons
Struggling to find fault with it. It does everything I need and more.
