About Gmail
Gmail is a free, advertising-supported email service offered as part of Google Workspace (formerly G Suite). With 15GB of email storage provided for free, users can access Gmail as secure webmail, as well as via POP3 or IMAP4.
Gmail automatically sorts emails into separate, customizable tabs (e.g. Primary, Social, Promotions, Updates) which users can add or remove as desired. Both inbound and outbound messages can be translated into other languages in Gmail, where users can also respond to invites, track packages, and leave reviews, without leaving the app.
Starring and custom color labels let users neatly organize email threads (conversations), while Google-powered search allows users to locate messages from any thread, quickly and easily.
With Gmail's Hangouts, users can instant message with others, as well as host video calls with up to 15 participants, straight from their inbox. The platform is accessible from any mobile device, via either native mobile apps for Android or iPhone/iPad, or via a native mobile web app.
Key benefits of Gmail
• Choose a professional looking custom email - e.g. [email protected] - for your company and team members to use.
• Host video meetings with up to 15 participants, straight from your Gmail inbox, with Hangouts.
• Access your email account on Android, iPhone, and Blackberry devices, via native mobile apps or the Gmail mobile web app.
• Automatically sort and label incoming emails with Gmail's color-coded inbox filters, similar to 'folders' in old email programs, but emails can have multiple labels applied.
• Recall or 'unsend' emails for a short period of time after you've clicked "send".

Nothing better than Gmail

Gmail is the best email service that anyone can have. All the associate service and integration that can be done with Gmail like Google Docs or Google Meet has help me to have more power and control to help managing my daily task better.
Pros
No email hosting software has do the job that Gmail has done. Managing email, auto sign-up for website, access to Google Suite and many more can be done with Gmail account. Gmail also can be upgraded to business account, which i can have my own domain email and using Gmail email hosting service to managing all the incoming email.
Cons
Getting a customer support service from Google is not as easy as it should be. I need to email them and wait for several days for them to finally response to my email, and no option to connect to the support service by phone for my country.

I think it has been a good experience overall, but I really hate the way they have things on offer (like space) and then they retract that and charge you for it when you get used to it.
Pros
Spam blocker is better than anything else out there.
The inbox look is clean, and emails tend to get through without outages and problems.
Calendar management is great.
Set up with own domain is exceptional.
Great layout of Google One, personal administration space.
Cons
The surveillance associated with Google, and intrusion into everything.
Rubbish integration with things like home automation (none).
Google not providing the functionality of things like IFTTT, etc. (so you have to buy one of those services instead or get used to poorly designed alternatives in the suite).
Contacts management is awful.
Terrible integration for multiple work accounts on mobile phone.
Ridiculously bad layout of their Google Workspaces administration space.

Love for some key features & Less love for limits in customizing some other features!

Overall I will say gmail has more pros than cons! I use it every single day for a wide range of tasks, both professionally and in my personal life as well. I appreciate the ability to access most basic functions for free. I'm pretty sure, I would struggle to find a replacement for each and every way I utilize google every single day. I do worry about the monopoly-ish-type attributes I see in google as a whole though...
Pros
Hands down, in this moment in time, the most important & impactful feature of the gmail software is the ability to schedule send emails from both the mobile app and the desktop/web browser. My work provided email software does not make this feature available across platforms and this has impacted me negatively as a user. I suffer from attention deficits (as many of us do!) so if I am trying to send an email that has to be in at a certain time but its outside of the hours I want to be recorded sending it, then I may attempt to send it in the morning or later (depending on the situation) but I have then forgotten to do this at this later time! Gmail gets my vote for having this fully customizable feature to schedule send an email no matter how you are accessing your gmail account and has the feature easy to find every time!!! Thank you.
Cons
I really struggle with the inbox categorization. I haven't figured out how to ensure I am seeing all of the emails I am wanting to see in my initial inbox window. I have missed a few emails because I was only seeing "priority" or "important" etc.. but I would need to scroll down to "everything else" or "All mail" in order to find the one I needed to see!

It had been my main email for the past 10 years and they had improved. It now is well integrated in the different google suite apps for easy collaboration with client and colleagues.
Pros
Easy to use and well integrated to the different Google Suites Apps. It had improved for the past 5 years.
Cons
I think it would be its limited customisation in the email interface.
