Colaborative solution

We use Google Docs to share information among users, designers and business department. It’s Easy to see data and colaborate, at the same time, during a design study or process. Access from mobile devices is other big goal in use the tool.

Free and Intuitive documentation tool

My overall experience with Google Docs has been satisfactory because I am able to record tagging, reporting and campaign re-targeting instructions with no additional cost investment needed to buy a software. So, its ROI is high, as long as the user is familiar with using Google suite of office tools such as Google Drive and Gmail in conjunction with Google Docs. And, is comfortable with collaborating on same project with multiple members using commenting and file sharing features. Other tools like Microsoft Word are costly.

I never lose work and can have all of my docs on Google cloud. Sharing documents is incredibly easy and collaboration is smooth.

Pros

Google Docs is great for both collaborative writing work and personal writing. The auto save feature ensures that you do not lose work as long as you are connected to the internet, and the history feature ensures that you can take a look back at work you may have written over. Google Docs is easy to use, free, and has most functionality that Word Doc has. Hundreds of downloadable add-ons give users even more options when it comes to things like font, graph inserts, or layout design.

When sharing a document with people, you can decide what level of access that person has to the document: "view only" (no editing power), "can comment" (can make editing suggestions and leave comments throughout the document), "can edit" (full access to editing document).

I started using Google Docs in college and still use it today as a professional freelance writer. It is great for academia, personal use, and professional use.

Cons

I can't set a "default" font. This is kind of petty, but I personally hate Ariel font and I have to manually change the font for body text and headings every time. Like I said, it's petty.

We use Google Docs to share information among users, designers and business department. It’s Easy to see data and colaborate, at the same time, during a design study or process. Access from mobile devices is other big goal in use the tool.

Pros

The most important feature is that the integration with other Google tools and Easy of sharing with other office people ar the same time brought agilty to feed information during the design process of the project among internal users and external clients. Another important issue is portabilty between computer and mobile devices.

Cons

There are some features available in other Softwares (like word, for exemple) that doesn’t exist in Docs. Integration with other softwares that use the engine of word to change data on line (like apps and plugins) that are not available to Docs yet.

And, is comfortable with collaborating on same project with multiple members using commenting and file sharing features. Other tools like Microsoft Word are costly.

Pros

I use Google Docs to document my marketing campaign strategy. So, I can leverage it again, when needed in the future. Example: I came up with a re-targeting campaign strategy using custom audience built in Google Analytics and sent to Salesforce for campaign execution. I documented all the steps of this new strategy using Google Docs which helped me apply the same re-targeting process to other marketing campaigns. I also utilize Google Docs to keep a record of all my tagging and reporting strategies so I can easily apply them to new KPIs or measurement plans. In summary, Google Docs has helped me save campaign optimization instructions for future reference so I am more efficiently repeating process which worked before. Another pro about Google Docs: it automatically saves content as I type, in the cloud. So, there is no risk of losing text or images, if my laptop is frozen or shut down without my control.

Cons

Google Docs doesn't save images from Gmail. For example, if I typed a long email which has a bunch of text and images. And, I want to save that email in Google Docs, it will save the text but not the images. So, I have to save the images in my local drive first and then upload them to Google Docs. Or, take a screenshot of images from the original source and then paste them in Google Docs. Also, Google Docs won't work that efficiently to save content if internet signal is down or if there is no Google account available.

Overall, this software does a great job when it come to easy document creation, editing, navigation, sharing and collaboration. It makes team work easy, and is perfect for everything from ebook creation to website content mapping. Highly recommend.

Pros

For over four years, I have been consistently using Google Docs to create and edit documents. My favorite features include the ability to share the document with multiple people and having full control over their document privileges; the ability to have multiple users in the same document writing and editing simultaneously; the ability to easily and seamlessly save and download any document in multiple formats, including PDF. These were important to me since I worked with a team of independent contractors in my field and we all needed to be able to write and 3dit in the same document at the same time in an easy and efficient manner. Oh, I also love the ability to add comments in real time, and then being able to chat about edits within a side panel of the document window. Very handy for giving quick instructions or analyzing strategies for content.

Cons

There could be a lot more simple-to-use features when it comes to adding and editing images in Google Docs. The features it currently has are archaic and there isn't a lot you can do with them.

Great alternative to online blackboards and note-taking apps!

It is just "Oh my goodness!" Stupid simple and immensely inspiring! Useful. Helpful. Adorable.

Pros

User-friendly, flexible, responsive, customizable and overwhelmingly great!
Easy-to-use on Linux OS (my OS - Ubuntu Budgie 18.04.5 LTS (Bionic Beaver), I am a PC user).
I really like their multiple functions, such as: creating complex documents with tables, different splendid fonts, background colors, in bold and cursive fonts. Flexible and comfy using bullet points or ordered listing, page numbering, first-line indentation, interline spacing. Adjustable using hyperlinks and styles deleting. It is fast and easy to create, share and delete documents, modify them, download and save in .doc or .pdf. It is absolutely free, stable, secure and trustworthy service which is indispensable for e-learning, edutainment, studies, research work and online tutoring. Besides, you can use this spectacularly simple service as a note-taking app or even a draft of your blog or bullet journal! Whatever you want to type down: bucket list, to-do list, grocery list, motivation letter draft, CV or resume, it is always comfy, flexible and useful! Easy to use, easy to customize, easy to modify, save, download and delete! I have not mentioned other functions as inserting some files (pictures) or creating slides or optical character recognition, but I have never checked these functions, that's why I have described just common functionality which is pleasant and helpful for any task completion!
As I said: it is smart, simple and impressively good! I am really grateful that such a service exists.

Cons

Well, for some weird reason I cannot check for sure how OCR works there. Besides, my hardware is a little bit outdated, that's why something like "inserting pictures" might malfunction on my OS.
