Microsoft Outlook
About Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Outlook is a personal information manager from Microsoft designed to help users focus on what’s important with a clear view of email, calendars, and contacts. Microsoft Outlook enables users to communicate more effectively by connecting efficiently with others. Available as a native mobile app for iOS, Android, and Windows devices, Microsoft Outlook gives users the flexibility to manage their inbox anytime, anywhere, via tablet and mobile devices.
Mircosoft Outlook allows users to see everything they need to know at a glance. Users can preview messages in the message list, so they'll know which ones to read and act on first, and then reply with just a click by typing a response directly into the reading pane. With Outlook, users can discover groups, quickly find what they need, and share files from the cloud, as well as manage their calendar and inbox. Calendar management tools allow users to share their availability, schedule meetings and receive notices easily.
Through the Outlook mobile app, users can access their unified inbox, schedule emails, and attach files conveniently. The mobile app allows users to share files from OneDrive, Dropbox, and Google Drive accounts while on the go, and without leaving Outlook. With Outlook's focused inbox, users can see what matters most first with the most important messages on top.

Critical software for daily work, opportunities for improvement or implementing work arounds
Reviewed on 06/07/2023
Pros
The features that are most important and impactful for daily work include email management and communication. At its core, Outlook is able to achieve this and is considered a critical software for my role and our organization. I am able to send, reply, forward, and overall communication via email. I am also able to manage my inbox and subfolders.Outlook is relatively easy to use but there are some nuances that a new beginner would not be familiar with. Additionally, there are newer features that require more learning.Outlook integrates well with existing business processes and systems.
Cons
The search functionality could be significantly improved. I've never had good experience when trying to go back and search for a previous email. Typically, the default search shows way too much, including things that aren't relevant. And then when filtering down within the search, it does not show enough to aid in finding what I was looking for.I utilize the delay sending feature and it has been difficult to use. I've experienced some issues previously. It will not release emails related to appointment responses, which results in confusion and additional manual steps.

I use Outlook for my work email and it allows me to manage my email in an easy and fast way. Outlook runs well and rarely hangs. It has a lot of features (I use a few, the search, the rules, the calendar and just an addon) and if a need support I easily find my answer on internet (of course you can contact Microsoft Support).
Indeed one of the best Microsoft Program.
Pros
I think Microsoft Outlook is the best email client available, i like the interface and how menu and features are organized.
Managing your enails and email accounts is easy, you can add a new account just following the instructions (in the file section or under the windows control panel) and manage you emails folders and e g. set some inbox rules.
Also you can add event on your calendar and ask Outlook to alert you before they will take place.
You can create PST archives and attach them to your email account.
There are many addons from third party programs that you can integrate with Outlook, this is a really useful feature.
Outlook works well and you will easily find documentation on internet in case of need.
Of course Outlook is not free, but it is worth the price (there are several plans).
Cons
The search bar placed in the top of the the screen and the new visualition, I prefer the old one (but it seems you can change it in some way).
Mails are marked as read if you just click once on them by default. I dislike this option.

I've been using it forever, and don't see myself using anything else. Maybe Mozilla Thunderbird if I'm feeling nostalgic
Pros
Easy to use, customize. straight forward. widely adopted among other businesses
Cons
I am not a fan of the "new outlook" as it function more like the web application, but as a desktop application. Some features are not available on the new one (which I think they're working on adding hopefully)
