Pros

Makes it easy to analyze project reports. Definitely improves and facilitates coordination and time tracking the projects.

Cons

After submission, it is difficult to change the time and schedules.

Project Insight was notable for its strong reporting capabilities. By utilizing configurable reports, I can effortlessly provide comprehensive analyses of project performance, resource allocation, and potential bottlenecks. Project Insight improved our project management procedures, resulting in improved coordination, heightened productivity, and effective project results.

Pros

As a Research Project Support Coordinator, I particularly appreciated Project Insight's capability to offer a consolidated and transparent platform for project administration. The tool's extensive dashboard enabled me to monitor project progress in real-time, facilitating the tracking of tasks, deadlines, and milestones. This functionality greatly diminished the amount of time dedicated to manual updates and communication, enabling the team to allocate more attention to the research itself.

Cons

The intricacy of the situation resulted in the need for more time to bring new team members on board and necessitated additional training, therefore affecting our project schedules. Furthermore, many customization choices were restricted, hence posing challenges in adapting the platform to our precise requirements.

Pros

One location to track time spent on a project and shared documents

Cons

The app does not allow modifying the start and complete date/time for completing a task. The title page when in a task seems to cut off the complete information if it is tool long, you need to go back to the dashboard to see the complete information

Hi Scott, thanks for leaving honest feedback. The tool uses roles to decide who can edit the scheduling information. You may need to have that role to allow for editing or have your system configured to allow signees to change the dates. You may want to contact your administrator to have those rights. We use Project Insight for our budgeting and timelines shared among multiple employees and it helps us keep everyone on the same page.

Excellent Portfolio Management

Pros

We have a variety of clients that require small scale and large scale projects. PI offers excellent planning tools to setup projects and forecast staff utilization. We can also plan multi year projects with escalating rates by resource type. This provides a true picture for us to see how we are performing based on quote/budget.

Cons

Configuration of the product can be cumbersome. It does take a while to locate all the add ons you may want and configure them properly. Sometimes reporting doesn't always seem to get you to where you need to go. That being said, a weekly office hour session is offered and has been a big help for us to keep learning and moving forward. You definitely have to use this to know what you don't know.
