## Overview

### Key benefits of Homebound

Your property pays nothing. There is no subscription, setup fee or contract. When a guest wants an item posted, the guest pays for postage at checkout.

Nobody at the desk takes card numbers over the phone. The guest gets a link, enters their own delivery address, picks a delivery option and pays through Stripe Checkout. Card details go to Stripe, not to your property or to Homebound.

Nobody queues at the post office. We book the courier, the shipping label is emailed to you and the courier collects the parcel from your front desk. The guest gets a tracking number, so they don't ring the desk asking where it is.

Every found item is in one log. Housekeeping and front-desk staff log items from any phone or computer, with a photo and the shelf it's stored on. AI suggests a category and a short description from the photo, and staff edit it before saving.

Lost reports come in on your property's own form. AI suggests which logged items are likely matches, with a reason for each, and staff confirm the right one before the guest is contacted.

Each item keeps its history: who logged it, where it was stored, who matched it and how it left the property. Items past their hold period are flagged, so the shelf gets cleared on time.

Guests who would rather collect in person can do that at the desk.

It runs in a browser alongside your PMS. There is no app to install. If you run more than one property, a group login sees items at all of them.
