## Overview

### Key benefits of SkillDrift Career Launchpad

Every student measured on the same scale. A readiness number two students and two departments can be compared on, instead of a self rating that only ever rises.

Measured early enough to act on. The first read is a baseline taken while there is still time to change the outcome, rather than a placement rate that arrives after the students have graduated.

Names, not counts. Every heatmap cell and every band opens into the students behind it, so a working list replaces a percentage.

A number that survives the follow up question. The score is deterministic, it can fall, and every movement carries a plain language reason drawn from what changed underneath it.

The curriculum question answered with evidence. The institution's own course catalogue is set against what employers are asking for, at department and course level.

One system, two front doors. What a student does to help themselves becomes the institution's number, with no separate data entry for staff.
