## Overview

### Key benefits of Mobile Operator Rounds

Prove rounds actually happened: GPS-based unlock ensures operators are physically at the equipment before a round can be started or completed.

Catch problems earlier: Real-time capture of readings and defects means abnormal conditions are flagged immediately, not discovered at the next shift change.

Instant notification creation: Operators generate SAP notifications with photos on the spot, routing issues directly into the maintenance workflow.

Eliminate rounds sheet backlogs: No more piles of paper clipboards to transcribe, lose, or misfile — readings go straight into SAP.

Better data for predictive maintenance: Clean, structured, timestamped condition data feeds directly into SAP's asset health and maintenance planning.

Works fully offline: Operators keep completing rounds in tank farms, remote sites, and low-signal areas; data syncs automatically once connected.

Stronger regulatory and audit readiness: A complete, location-verified history of every round is available for compliance audits and insurance reviews.

Faster operator onboarding: A guided, checklist-driven mobile experience is easier for new or contract operators to learn than paper-based route sheets.

Reduced safety incidents: Earlier detection of abnormal readings prevents small issues from escalating into equipment failures or safety events.

Seamless SAP integration: Built as part of Unvired's SAP-certified mobile suite, with no custom middleware required to connect to SAP Plant Maintenance.

The app's GPS-based unlock feature requires the operator to be physically present at the equipment location before a round can begin — a control that directly addresses one of the most persistent integrity issues in paper-based rounds programs: rounds being filled out from memory or at the end of a shift rather than performed in real time. \n\nWhen an operator identifies a defect or an out-of-range reading, the app lets them capture a photo and immediately create an SAP notification, feeding the issue into the maintenance workflow within minutes rather than at the next shift handover or planning meeting. This turns the rounds process from a passive compliance exercise into an active early-warning system that reliability engineers can rely on for condition-based maintenance decisions. \n\nBuilt offline-first, the app continues working across tank farms, remote well sites, and large manufacturing floors where connectivity is unreliable, automatically syncing readings, photos, and notifications to SAP once a signal is available. This gives reliability and operations teams a complete, timestamped, and location-verified audit trail of every round performed — valuable both for internal reliability analysis and for external regulatory or insurance audits. \n\nAs part of Unvired's broader SAP-certified Mobile Asset Management suite, Mobile Operator Rounds shares its offline architecture and AI capabilities with the company's Mobile Work Orders app, including AI-assisted notification quality suggestions. It deploys across iOS, Android, and Windows tablets and integrates with barcode and RFID scanners for fast asset identification. \n\nOrganizations in oil & gas, chemicals, utilities, and manufacturing use Mobile Operator Rounds to replace paper rounds sheets, improve inspection compliance, catch abnormal equipment conditions earlier, and give reliability engineers clean structured data instead of illegible handwritten logs. Customers such as Kaneka Americas have deployed it alongside Unvired's Mobile Work Orders app on SAP S/4HANA to unify asset maintenance and inspection processes on one platform. A free proof-of-concept lets prospective buyers validate fit against their specific plant and SAP environment.","image":"https://images.g2crowd.com/display-layer-screenshots/150502/fdd574a3ab7c3ec651c4d53a11f45a2394b1bad45f878bbfacfe5f8d043ae302.png","url":"https://www.getapp.com.au/software/2204332/mobile-operator-rounds","@type":"SoftwareApplication","@id":"https://www.getapp.com.au/software/2204332/mobile-operator-rounds#software","applicationCategory":"BusinessApplication","publisher":{"@id":"https://www.getapp.com.au/#organization"},"operatingSystem":"Cloud, Windows on premise, Linux on premise"},{"@type":"BreadcrumbList","itemListElement":[{"name":"Home","position":1,"item":"/","@type":"ListItem"},{"name":"Asset Tracking Software","position":2,"item":"/directory/1021/asset-tracking/software","@type":"ListItem"},{"name":"Mobile Operator Rounds","position":3,"item":"/software/2204332/mobile-operator-rounds","@type":"ListItem"}],"@id":"https://www.getapp.com.au/software/2204332/mobile-operator-rounds#breadcrumblist"}]}
