It has made managing a 33 acre residential and commercial complex precinct much more organised, efficient and transparent. I particularly like the ability to create work orders, request and compare quotations, communicate with contractors, track invoices and payments, while keeping all relevant documentation, photos, reports and correspondence attached to each individual job. The ability to track a job from the initial request, through quotation and approval, right through to completion, invoicing and payment provides excellent visibility and accountability. It also creates a complete history of works that can easily be referred back to when required. The platform's resident portal and maintenance request functionality is another major advantage. Residents can now submit maintenance requests directly through ComtyLink, allowing management to receive, track and manage issues more efficiently while providing a clearer process for residents. The broadcasting and communication system is also extremely useful. Management can send notifications and important updates directly to residents, making it much easier to communicate information about planned works, outages, events, maintenance issues and other matters happening throughout the precinct. Another feature I find extremely useful is the booking system, which allows residents and management to book rooms, facilities and shared spaces for events and other activities. Having this integrated into the same platform makes managing shared facilities much easier. The QR code and contractor monitoring system is another feature that has been particularly useful. QR codes can be linked to contractor spreadsheets and scopes of works, allowing management to monitor whether contractors are attending the required locations and completing the tasks they are contracted to perform. This is particularly beneficial for cleaning, waste management, maintenance and other recurring trade services, as it provides greater accountability and visibility over contractor performance. The reporting functionality is also excellent, particularly when providing updates to the Board. It allows me to clearly demonstrate completed works, outstanding items, contractor activity and expenditure. One of the biggest advantages of ComtyLink is that the developer is continually improving and updating the platform and its technology. They are consistently introducing new features and improvements to keep the system current and competitive with other property and facilities management platforms in the market. Overall, ComtyLink has significantly streamlined my workflow and reduced the need to manage information across multiple systems. Having maintenance, recurring works, resident requests, contractors, quotations, work orders, invoices, payments, bookings, resident communications, QR code monitoring, documentation and reporting all within one platform makes it an extremely valuable tool for facilities, building and property management. > > **Cons**: This is actually quite difficult for me to answer, as I am extremely happy with ComtyLink overall. I haven't experienced any major issues with the platform that would make me consider it a negative. If I do come across an issue or something that I believe could work better, one of the biggest advantages is that I can contact the ComtyLink team directly and have the issue addressed. Their support and willingness to listen to feedback makes a significant difference. There are always areas where software can continue to improve, particularly around reporting and customisation, but I would consider these more opportunities for further development rather than major shortcomings. The fact that the developers are continually updating the platform, introducing new features and responding to user feedback makes it difficult to identify anything I genuinely "like least" about ComtyLink. Another major strength is the ComtyLink support team.
