> **Pros**: This is one of the few softwares I could find that has the ability to do reports for residential inspections, commercial building inspections, and property condition assessments.  The AI assistant makes writing the reports so much easier.  I only need to write a basic description of the finding in each narrative, and the AI will re-write it to be more detailed.  It can also assist with cost estimates in the commercial module.  Having everything in Airtable allows me to customize the look and content of my reports (to an extent).  I also appreciate that it only costs a flat rate for lifetime use, making it a good value.

> **Cons**: Getting the reports set up to look the way I wanted took a lot of time and experimentation.  And even then, Airtable's limitations won't allow me to get the reports to look the way I want.  For example, I can't include my company logo or signature in the reports without them being resized to fit an entire page width or having the image filename displayed underneath.

Also, Airtable does not have an offline mode, so I can't use InspectorPrime in the field without using up a ton of cellular data.  This causes the photos to take an extremely long time to upload, and I can't upload more than one photo at a time or else they will fail to upload.  So I have to wait to take a photo until the previous photo finishes uploading, which wastes a lot of time.  For these reasons, I do not use InspectorPrime in the field.  I take the photos and notes on my tablet and then upload them to the report when I get back to the office.

The biggest problem with this software, which would have been a dealbreaker had I known about it beforehand, is that it cannot generate PDF reports that look good.  The only way to get PDF reports is to print the webpage, which messes up the formatting and makes them look messy.  The InspectorPrime team say the reports are intended to be shared and viewed online only.  They say that is what people want, but that is absolutely NOT TRUE in my experience.  Almost all of my clients say they would rather have PDF reports, and some have complained about the formatting of InspectorPrime's printouts.  And I have to tell them that, due to the software limitations, I cannot make the reports look any better.

I have exchanged multiple emails with the InspectorPrime team about these issues, and they have often been slow to respond.  It once took them two weeks to respond to an email.  While they have helped me resolve some issues, they have told me there is no solution to the biggest issues described above.
