> **Pros**: Reporter is a very good tool that competes with some other non-European, not self-hosted, pricier options. 
It includes lots of features required for good pentest and reporting workflows.

Pentest notes would also be nice to enhance collaboration.

Most of the self hosted tools were a little rough on the edge or lacking a key feature. 
Reporter has almost everything we need to provide the best services to our customers. 
The key features for us was :
- the heavy customisable template engine
- the collaboration feature with both customers and team members
- the regular updates and new features
- workflows and integrations
- made by pentesters
- the self hosted  stand \!

Reporter is now an essential part of our process and customer experience.

Because I have sensitive eyes, I really would like to see a dark mode theme option within reporter.

Before Reporter we used Microsoft Word to create pentest reports. It is a relieve to not have to worrying about styling or layout stuff. Reporter does this all with a click on a button.
