All communications within the portal are done over TLS 1.2 or TLS 1.3. All data and files are encrypted at rest and in transit. Data is stored in a serverless Aurora database configured for PostgreSQL, which is capable of point-in-time rewind or restore. The database, file system, and detailed logging from all resources are added automatically and backed up into a compliance account with WORM policies in place (Write Once, Read Many) and no direct ability to delete files without root access. The application is deployed in a containerized environment using pre-vetted software images. This allows for immediate scaling or rapid re-deployment, if necessary. The code base is maintained in a private repository with change history and version control as well as backed up locally. The entire cloud architecture is deployed using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
