About BackBox
BackBox helps organizations continuously validate and proactively improve network security posture with preventive actions.
We offer a simple way to intelligently automate the backup, restoration, and management of all devices on a network by providing centralized management of devices such as firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers.
Employing centralized management for all device backups also allows BackBox to relay other vital information, such as the status of devices and the network, to end users. This lets BackBox assist with predicting when and where outages are more likely to occur, in turn helping organizations prevent such events.
BackBox provides a foundation to harmonize the configuration between multiple devices, enabling seamless integration, and assuring compliance with organization or industry security policies, standards, or guidelines.

- Through centralized management for all device backups, BackBox relays vital information, such as the status of devices and the network, to end users. This lets BackBox assist with predicting when and where outages are more likely to occur, in turn helping organizations prevent such events with proactive actions.
- BackBox automatically pulls in network asset (devices) information such as device types, serial numbers, licenses, versions, etc. with every backup and provides real-time granular reporting for easy documentation. BackBox also provides automated discovery of new devices connected to the network that helps ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, such as CIS, that require organizations to tightly manage their inventory of devices.

It's a life saver for network security team. We have many cases where we need to restore or rollback to the previous backups/versions and Backbox successfully achieves the tasks without any problem.
Pros

Backbox is my favorite product. While integrating the devices or troubleshooting a problem it always improve my knowledge. On the other side, it is a must product for all kind of facilities. It is the most needed product however, I always wish to not need it!
Pros
The customization feature is the best feature on Backbox. Because we can customize the scripts to prevent any kind of simple problem. Also the administrator can observe and improve their skills about a product while managing Backbox backups processes.
Cons
Not least but can be considered as a feature request; the scheduling part can be handled by in another manner. When we set a schedule, we can assign products to that specific schedule and they start to run altogether. That cause a peak on CPU and RAM and then goes to a idle state. Instead, it can be a task sequence manner, which at the end of a task, the following task will be triggered. It may reduce the system requirements and improve the system preformance.
