Now the warehouse employees are able to pick customer's orders by scanning inventory from specific locations. The decision to get new software was based on the desire to improve our inventory and reduce picking errors, which would the reduce customer returns and refusals, and to have a faster, more operationally efficient facility. Our corporation is currently using WarehouseExpert and this has been used at the facility since January of 2010. The implementation took about 5 to 6 months. It was difficult at times, as any implementation/installation would be. Even though there were rough moments, the staff of Made4Net was on call or on site whenever they were needed. They walked us through the procedures, trained us thoroughly, answered any questions and clarified any confusion we had. If I have any questions regarding WarehouseExpert, Made4Net is there via email or phone. Their staff gets back to me with answers to my questions as quickly as they can. I found SCExpert easy to learn and master. I am able to work through several screens at once, viewing data, making adjustments, putting together routes or working through several different tasks. Our operation's team, with Made4Net's software, is now able to keep better records of the inventory in the facility. It allows the purchasing department to better review inventory records and order accordingly. The system also allows us to better serve our customers by reducing mispicks/wrong items being sent, which minimizes customer returns. It allows for an increase of worker's productivity by increasing the speed in picking orders and decreasing the time needed to pick those orders. WarehouseExpert allows the pickers to fulfill multiple orders at one time, through their easy to use order/route planning. It also allows the warehouse staff to keep better control of the inventory through the use of counting tasks assigned to the database. ----- ### Review — 5.0/5 > **Daniela** | *20 September 2011* > > We are a Bulgarian 3PL company whose main customers include cosmetics giant L’Oreal and leading paper wholesaler Europapier. Our work requires us to manage large ranges of SKUs (most of them with very similar appearance), use specialized picking methods (FIFO, FEFO, etc.), handle different types of orders (detail picking for small orders and pallet picking for large orders) with short lifespan (30 min to 4 hours in the warehouse), effectively replenish picking locations, manufacture BOM products, etc. We also need to meet traceability requirements and do regular inventory checks. We used to work with spreadsheets but the process was tedious and we started looking for a real WMS. We spent one year doing market research and, finally, chose SCExpert. The system had all the functionalities we needed, for a reasonable price. What we did not know, but realized in the process of implementation, is that we were working with an extraordinary team of committed and responsive professionals. Looking back, we realize that we chose the worst possible moment for implementation, the end of the year. However, with the help of Made4Net and its team, we were able to deal with the huge amount of work during the holiday period and the implementation of the new WMS system. The result was astonishing: we managed our processes much easier and faster, improved our KPI, reduced our exposure to human mistakes to a minimum, and we were now able to receive real-time information for the processes in the warehouse. What is more, the interface of the new system was very user-friendly and new workers took only a couple of days to become fully operational. In fact, we realized that our employees became addicted to the new system and by no means wanted to go back to the old way of working. SCExpert brought improvement in our work and satisfaction to both managers and warehouse workers.
