> **Pros**: What's great with Ostinato is that it does not need special hardware to run on. It can run on pretty much anything. Most other solution need high-end or special hardware.

> **Pros**: This traffic gen has been a life saver in multiple occasions. Working for a VAR and having multiple projects all with different traffic profiles, Ostinato is versatile enough to be able to generate or even replicate production like traffic to identify problems in a network setup.

> **Cons**: End to end traffic analysis complement could be useful - to understand if what is sent is aligned to what is received. In other words, to identify if packet loss is verified and when such bottleneck can be host based.
