> I wasn't sure at first since I hadn't used a system like this before. But now that I've used it for over a year I think it's really valuable. Getting folks to think slightly larger than themselves through peer recognition and surveys helps a remote-first team stay connected.

> terrible. why would i spend points on company swag? shouldn't my company be giving me this stuff so i can rep them?  also, announcing you're changing the matter rewards AFTER you've already changed them helps absolutely no one.
