Patriot Payroll from the Accountant's perspective

Pros
I appreciate the Patriot Payroll ease of use. As an accountant, it is simple to set up a new client and get them started with processing payroll correctly. Training them on the software is equally simple.
Cons
The only complaint I have is that it is not always easy for new clients to process payroll for a Friday direct deposit with a Monday holiday in the same week. New clients need to realize the payroll can be run before getting started on a long holiday weekend.

I've needed both technical and administrative support, particularly when I was new to the software, and the Patriot support folks have always remained engaged in the issue was corrected.
Pros
Software works well and is easy to use, but the customer service and technical support are world-class.
Cons
I've tried to setup two-factor authentication, but login does not always require it.

My client had an issue with the state quarterly forms. Although the SUTA taxes were remitted by Patriot , none of the quarterly returns were filed for the last 5 quarters. After sorting out an issue with the state exemption status, a request was made several times for Patriot to file the late returns. It's been 26 days and still no returns filed. You are not able to speak with the "tax team" or receive any communications from the tax department. All emails, chats and phone calls go thru a general support team. The latest email I received stated the filing of the forms are a "first come, first serve basis". Is Patriot not able to keep up with timely filings for all customers? The support ticket has been opened for over 26 days. I'm wondering if Patriot uses an outside service for tax filing?
