### Key benefits of SecureCloud

Answer the audit question, not just the security questionnaire
Most storage platforms can show a data processing agreement. Fewer can show that nobody outside your organisation is technically able to read the data. With an optional per-library encryption layer whose key never leaves the user's device, you can evidence that from the architecture rather than from a promise.

Keep German data under German jurisdiction
Data is held AES-256 encrypted in German data centres, and the company has no US parent, so it falls outside the reach of the US CLOUD Act. That is a question of jurisdiction, which contractual assurances do not resolve.

Choose the protection level per data class
Maximum confidentiality costs external link sharing and password recovery. Rather than forcing that trade-off across everything, you apply it to client files, patient records or board papers and leave everyday project folders fully collaborative.

Stop the tool being the reason people work around it
Office and PDF documents are edited simultaneously in the browser, mobile devices treat SecureCloud as a native storage location, and Outlook and Teams are supported, so secure handling does not depend on staff remembering a separate workflow.

Share links carry your corporate design and your own domain, with password protection and a readable expiry date, so what your clients receive looks like it came from you.

Prove what happened after the fact
File-level audit logs, version history of 90 to 365 days and 30-day recovery of deleted libraries mean access and changes can be reconstructed when someone asks.

Scale without changing platform
Business onboards without a setup fee. Advanced adds capacity, longer version history and a dedicated, isolated instance rather than shared tenancy. Enterprise adds upload virus scanning, backup to a second location and an individual SLA. Single sign-on and multi-factor authentication are included in Enterprise and available as a paid add-on for Business and Advanced.

On mobile, SecureCloud registers as a storage location in the device file manager, so files can be uploaded, downloaded, moved, copied, renamed and deleted without switching apps, with changes synced back automatically.
