Google Search Console

Web-based SEO tool for optimizing website visibility

About Google Search Console

Google Search Console is a web-based tool designed to help businesses measure websites’ search traffic and performance, resolve issues, and improve site ranking in Google Search results. It lets SEO specialists conduct marketing analysis using other Google tools, such as Google Trends, Google Analytics, and Google Ads to facilitate decision-making processes related to websites’ appearance in search results.

Key features of Google Search Console include keyword tracking, mobile keywords, dashboard, localization, rank tracking, and Google Analytics integration. The platform enables users to analyze clicks, impressions, and position of websites on Google search and gain insight into the queries that bring more users to their websites. Marketers can submit sitemaps and individual URLs for crawling and reviewing index coverage.

Google Search Console sends email alerts to teams about issues identified by Google on websites and helps examine the URLs affected by these issues. The system also allows web developers to monitor and resolve common bugs while creating markup or codes for websites.

Google Search Console - Helps improve your search rankings and user experience

Google Search Console has helped me improve search ranking for most of my websites. It is also a useful tool in expanding my websites, as it provides the keywords used by real users in search engines. This helps in identifying content which my website may have missed out, thus improving overall content availability.

A new feature has been added recently called the "Search Console Insights" which is providing valuable information on content performance. Hope it helps in further improving search rankings.

Pros

Google Search Console is quite easy to use. You can analyze all websites that you maintain in a single Google Account.

Adding a new web property can be done quickly. Verifying property ownership is achieved without much hassles by just uploading a HTML provided by the Search Console.

All relevant reports like Performance reports and Coverage reports provide valuable information.

All Mobile usability issues with the web pages are identified by the search console and which helps in fixing such issues and improving user experience.

Cons

Nothing which I don't like in Google Search Console.

Only a suggestion. Google Search Console can be integrated/merged with Google Analytics. This will help website administrators by getting all useful data in a single tool.

I use this on a daily basis when working as an SEO to track and monitor website health, and improve client websites backend issues affecting speed and crawlability. It's one of the first data areas I request access to when working on a new site.

Pros

Given that Google is the most important search engine for website owners, the website performance information contained in Search Console is incredibly valuable. The integration of Core Web Vitals data is a must view for website owners, and the keyword conversion and CTR data is essential for SEOs improving client websites.

Cons

While the current Search Console is greatly improved over the previous iteration, it's still a bit clunky, and some useful tools did not make the migration to the new product. It's sometimes hard to find where Google hid certain features in the current version.

With Google Console, you can view which keywords are bringing in the traffic to your website and can optimize to start tracking keywords. The benefit when your links get indexed is you can start doing On-page SEO to start seeing your website positioning in the search engine.

Pros

Integration of Google Console is quite simple and easy to use. Indexing is the most important function for me or any business that wants their website to display in the search engine and also the analytics it provides. When Google Analytics is linked to Google Search Console it becomes powerful if you understand how to use it.

Cons

I don't like the new feature of Google Search Console when you submit your sitemaps to get links indexed. Google is not indexing my links to any of the new websites I'm submitting or even updating old links.

The Beast Mode is On For My Local Business Needs

Pros

It's been 3-4 years using the Search Console previously well known as Google Web Master Tools. Google has made a lot of efforts to make the Search Console better and better over the time. The current version is super helpful and Unique to itself. There is no platform that helps website owners to make things easier and make your work stand out. Search console helped me a lot in my internet presence. It took sometime but it really worth using Google Search Console. It helps me managing my website issues. If there's any issue even a tiny one it lets me know immediately so i can solve it before it's too late. I thank you Google for such an amazing platform for free.

Cons

No cons it's just perfect. I like the search console pretty much
