About ISL Light

ISL Online is a remote support software that empowers you to offer fast remote assistance. You can access and control attended or unattended computers (Windows, Mac or Linux) in seconds from any computer or mobile device and provide technical support to mobile device users. It’s a rich-featured remote support solution, featuring file transfer, text chat, audio and video calls, session recording, unattended access, RDP tunneling, administrative mode, reporting and rich customization options.

The remote desktop software can be customized to match your company graphic design and you can turn on and off specific features and apply advanced security measures in order to best fit your workflow. ISL Online license includes a proprietary live chat software, which you can apply to your website and offer your clients a very efficient communication and support channel. From a live chat you can start a remote desktop connection with your client with only one click, without passing the session code to them. It’s the fastest and easiest way of starting a remote support session.

With one license you can create any number of users, install software on any number of workstations and support any number of clients. You can go for a cloud-based or on-premises license.

    Pros

    We made the change to ISL a year or two ago and have had no issues at all. We have all our customers systems set up for unattended access meaning we can support anyone at anytime from laptops, web browser, or phone app.

    Cons

    Some parts of the interface are not as clear and logical as they could be but that's nitpicking!

    Pros

    ISL is fast and responsive to remote onto client machines. Easy to add unattended machines and share access internally.

    Cons

    ISL is lacking some features of higher-profile remote tools such as NinjaRMM or N-ABLE RMM. However this can be overlooked with the price and value for money.

    Pros

    Easy to access many computers from one console.

    Cons

    When you add computer it's hard to tag computer.

    Pros

    Very easy to use. Has everything you could ask for in a remote desktop application. UI is easy to navigate and understand.

    Cons

    The only con I could even give it is when you set unattended access and then go to connect to that machine it downloads and executable every time. You can just label and save that .exe and use it instead of clicking the connect in the portal. Having more than 500 end users though I just do not want to have to dig through .exe's to find the one I want.
