EngageBay is an all-in-one marketing software which combines lead generation, email marketing, marketing automation, CRM, and social media engagement. Designed to help businesses to acquire, engage, nurture, and close leads, EngageBay allows users to create email campaigns and automate marketing processes and sales funnels. The cloud-based platform can be used to aid with growing leads, creating and automating the distribution of email marketing content, and managing customer relationships using the in-built CRM.

The unified marketing suite within EngageBay provides businesses with the tools to design, manage, and run customized marketing campaigns. Email campaigns can be built using the range of pre-designed email templates, or made from scratch using the drag & drop interface. Custom images, text, layout, share buttons, and more, can be added to email marketing templates in order to create a branded message to engage new or existing customers. EngageBay facilitates customer segmentation, defined by conditional metrics such as age, location, type of customer, purchase history, and more, in order to target specific subsets of users. Marketing campaigns can be automated by defining workflows and funnels, as well as setting up triggers based on customer actions. Custom web forms can be created and added to business websites to capture leads, and landing pages can be built to optimize clicks and conversions.

EngageBay offers an in-built CRM to help users organize their business contacts, manage relationships, and track pipelines. With both marketing and sales teams working within EngageBay, leads and contacts can be guided seamlessly through the sales pipeline using just one synchronous platform. Contacts can be managed with tools for creating contact lists, searching within the contact database, storing interaction history, activity logging, and more. With EngageBay, users are able to gain visibility into the sales pipeline and track the status of every deal in real time.

    Pros

    It's developer-friendly - important when you want to customise something like a contact form or email.
    It's very easy to navigate and figure out.
    Support is great - very fast and helpful.
    It does so much for such a reasonable cost compared to competitors.
    Very stable and reliable.

    Cons

    Some features are a little rough around the edges - reporting, for example. It would be great to see their reporting capabilities improved. At the moment I rely on exporting raw csv data and transforming that data before I can report on it.

    It is easy to use and work out with fantastic support offered along the way. Much cheaper than most of the alternatives and suits those starting out to the more advanced users

    There is a limitation on the landing page content in that you can force people to sign up before they look at the page contents.

    My partner and I are willing to put the time and effort into learning new systems but there was hardly any information in the help library. And the support staff wasn’t much help either.
