Whip Around helps fleet managers monitor fleet health within the fleet maintenance analytics dashboard, set schedules for preventive maintenance, and more. It lets users create, prioritize, and track work order progress. Managers get push notifications when defects appear. Drivers can perform, sign, and submit daily inspections through the DOT-compliant application. They can report issues that need maintenance attention by capturing photos and voice-to-text on their mobile devices. Users get push notifications if inspections are missing or incomplete. Mechanics get push notifications for new work orders and defects. The tool assists with automatic work order documentation and tracking. Mechanics can mark faults as corrected or addressed within the Whip Around app

The ease of use directly for the drivers created a platform that allows a link to our office that shows the current inspection on the truck.
Cons
Sometimes, the camera in the app can be tricky at night because of the flash.

It isn't very friendly for the people in the field, especially when not set up properly.

Pros
It should be easy to use but our people made it way too hard.
Cons
it crashes, you type a response that takes you 10 minutes to write and then after submitting it gives an error and half the time I just say F it and don't redo it.

It’s super easy to use. Anyone can use it. It makes keeping track of a fleet simple and quick to find anything I need.
Cons
It takes a little while just to get things figured out but once it’s figured out on the backend it’s super easy.

I stepped into a situation with 30 Recreational Vehicles with varying conditions and I was drowning trying to figure out which units needed what work. After researching and receiving demos from multiple providers, I did a trial of this and was sold. The utility of this tool is great and I cannot imagine trying to keep track of all these units the way we had before I bought this business.
Pros
WhipAround understands what's important about finding, managing and resolving defects to a vehicle. From start to finish I can digitally facilitate this aspect of my work, keep straight the status of the units, communicate clearly to several stakeholders, including insurance companies. The interface is intuitive and I can navigate around it easily with links to an inspection, a defect, a form, an asset readily available.
Cons
There are times that my inspections (which can take over an hour) will time out and I will lose my work in the middle of it. Doesn't happen often, and I think it might be if my phone switches from wifi to cell signal, but it has been frustrating. I also wish I had access to landscape photography and larger resolution images if needed.
