You can share your tasks with your team members and stakeholders, and communicate with them using comments and attachments. You can create custom reports and dashboards to monitor your tasks and metrics in real time.

Cons

No Time Tracking or Resource Management: Smartsheet does not have built-in features for time tracking or resource management, which are important for managing project costs and availability. Users need to use add-ons or integrations for these functions.

Using Smartsheet was an excellent way to think through the various tasks of a project, set deadlines / goals, and loop in teammates to better collaborate on the projects. Overall I really enjoy the program.

Pros

The thing I liked the most about Smarsheet was how easily customizable and rich in options projects and the use of the program was.

Cons

Diving into Smartsheet can be slightly daunting at first since there are many layers of options and ways to go about managing a project or scheduling out workflow.

Pros

Smartsheet's collaborative tools were very impressive. The feature of sharing sheets with team members, assigning responsibilities, and setting permissions ensured a synchronized understanding among all individuals and facilitated their effective contribution. By improving communication, the danger of miscommunication or duplicated efforts is minimized, which is essential for keeping the project on track.

Cons

Smartsheet's adaptability is a strong point, it can also result in discrepancies in how various team members configure and oversee their sheets. In the absence of explicit instructions, this might lead to a dearth of uniformity among projects, hence complicating the task of upholding a unified project management methodology.

We use smartsheets heavily to automate the workflow between teams. Once entries are made or statuses are changed, different teams are alerted to begin the next step. We are able to monitor status between teams and easily gather information.

Pros

We use Smartsheet very heavily and I enjoy the automations and workflows. They are extremely easy to set up and have a lot of functionality. I also like that different smartsheets can interact with each other. We use Smartsheets to streamline many of our processes and allow for better collaborating between teams.

Cons

I don't have any cons. The software does exactly what it is intended to do.
