
About Glisser
Glisser is an enterprise Software-as-a-Service solution that engages audiences and gathers valuable data from virtual, hybrid and in-persona events and meetings. It does this by sharing presentation slides to audience smart-devices, and allowing them to participate and feedback electronically. It enables organisations to connect their face-to-face communication efforts into their marketing and management databases.
It incorporates live presentation slide sharing to audience devices, audience response systems, live polling, Twitter feeds and other audience interaction. It can be used by both individual speakers, as well as event ,organisers, to make presentations more engaging and collect valuable data.
The Glisser platform takes regular PowerPoint or Keynote slide decks and pushes them out live to audience mobile devices, slide-by-slide, as they are presented. It then enables members of the audience to interact with the presenter or each other, and collects their feedback. Attendees can also electronically mark-up the slides with notes, and keep them for future reference.
Glisser integrates slide-by-slide ‘like’ voting, live audience questions, Twitter feeds, as well as polling and feedback slides integrated seamlessly within the original deck. There is no need for a second monitor or technical support to switch screen feeds, as Glisser can be operated by a lone presenter from a single device. It’s that simple.
Audience members can access slides via their web browser – a solution that works across all major devices including Windows Phone and BlackBerry, without any download required.
Presenters can set up presentations in a few minutes by uploading their files at the glisser.com website, switching on the social features they want to include, and dragging-and-dropping in audience polls. They then get a unique code to send to their audiences, to use in-app or via their web browser.

The Glisser team have some of the best people and culture when it comes to event tech suppliers, their customer support and service especially on event days it what sets them apart.
Pros
Having used Glisser for over 7 years I can honestly say it's one of my go-to tools for any event!
Cons
Not a great deal to be honest, any suggestions here would be merely personal preference

Functionality. Integrated slides & polling.
I don't know about customer support or value- I didn't use support, and I didn't pay for it. And the pricing wasn't on the website, so who knows? I did forward info to our IT/audiovisual guy, but I'm not calling to find out the price.
Cons
Took too long for audience to access the website. If I had the link ahead of time that might have worked, but since I didn't, I had to wait for everyone to type the address into their phones, which took much longer than I would have predicted. A QR code within the presentation would have facilitated this better. Also, several times while editing the polls, I had to shut down the slides altogether to get them to edit properly.

We've looked at QR codes, but found most attendees (outside of Asia) don't have a QR reader downloaded on their phone, so haven't prioritised this. With Apple looking like it might reignite the role of QR, maybe we'll change that soon...
As you used our free product I hope you got good value! Pricing varies significantly depending on the level of support you require, so we always like to discuss that with our clients rather than just be a software company selling a generic tool.

Pros
This is a great way for professors to quiz a class and make presentations more interactive!
Cons
If not set up properly then it displays everyone's answers and people are able to change choices based off of a majority.

An hour is a long time to be listening to anyone's voice but Glisser completely changes this. Building in the interactive features and embedding video into the presentation meant both the 200 strong audience and I remained engaged throughout.
There were no awkward microphone moments as you waited for the ushers to assist with questions from the audience. Instead, questions are posted in text and better yet, the ability for audience members to like questions meant I could focus on the top ranking queries and comments.
The tech worked seamlessly and the data captured through Glisser means I was able to capture feedback and reach out to the attendees within 24hrs of the event.
I'll definitely be using Glisser again, I could see it working well for anything from a focus group presentation to our annual conference.

To keep things simple, we don’t cap your usage of our core platform.
