About FiveStars
Need a better way to reach your customers? Fivestars is a custom loyalty automation platform that brings customers back 2x more often with text, email, and mobile app marketing tools. We provide you with a free Customer Touchscreen to sign up customers easily. With AutoPilot and Unlimited Promotions, stay top of mind by automatically reaching out to your customers with the right offer at the right time. We also provide detailed reporting on your customers' visit and spend behaviors.
Once customers have signed up to your loyalty program, they are sent an automatic text requesting their emails and birthdays. From here, AutoPilot can launch five sets of automated marketing campaigns with messaging, offers, and timing associated with event triggers. Offers and promotions are sent to your customers via text or email and customers can claim their offers directly from these texts and emails. When a promotion or offer is claimed it is directly pushed to your point of sale system, meaning that the customer can go to the store, scan their card and redeem their promotion.

It's always great to receive an added bonus
Reviewed on 11/08/2019
Pros
The software is easy to use for customers. You just use your phone number and create an account. So many companies use them for added bonuses when you buy something using their membership. I've gotten discounts, free meals, and even gotten recommendations for new places because of Fivestar.
Cons
Honestly, I haven't had any issues with Fivestar at all as a customer. The only time I've gotten frustrated with it has been because the store or restaurant that uses Fivestar has had internet issues and I don't get my points.

Been with Five Stars for a few years now. Just recently found out that if the customers don't "reply with Y,' they are not even getting our texts or emails. This was not always the case. I realize there is a law on the books now that requires this, but someone at Fivestars, should have reached out to us to alert us. I feel like the last year of sign ups, was a complete waste of time.
My scanner never works. I got tired of calling in all of the time to fix it or get a new one. Now, we don't offer the cards anymore since the scanner never works.
In the console it used to say, Text or Email. Now, it says, "Announcements or Promotions." I not sure who came up with that one. Text and email, is pretty cut and dry. Your retailers know exactly what those are and what they do. However, every time one of our stores goes to send something out, we have to back and look what Announcement is, and what Promotion is. Its like you are purposely trying to not be user friendly.
Pros
I used to like the data and it was easy to use.
Cons
The equipment and console.

Overall, I think that FiveStars is a solid digital marketing solution for small businesses looking to improve their customer experience and loyalty program. However, it's important to consider the high cost and the fact that FiveStars' loyalty program is better suited for retail businesses with frequent customers.
Pros
I found FiveStars to be very user-friendly for both customers and employees. Customers could easily sign up for the loyalty program through the mobile app or physical loyalty card, and employees could easily scan barcodes to record purchases and loyalty points. FiveStars' digital marketing tools were also very helpful for sending personalized offers and promotions to customers, which helped to improve the overall customer experience.
Cons
There is also a negative aspect to consider. I found that the cost of FiveStars was quite high for a small business like mine, especially when you take into account monthly fees, transaction fees, and additional costs for offers and promotions. Additionally, I think that FiveStars' loyalty program is better suited for retail businesses with frequent customers, rather than businesses with less frequent customers.
