It is a great tool to work with files in the cloud, it is very easy to share files and work with them directly from the cloud, allows you to edit files and manage viewing and download permissions easily, without installing any software because you work directly from the browser.

Pros

One of my favorite features is to be able to manage files from different devices, like a personal computer or a cell phone, so I can work with my files from different locations, besides being able to work in a team much easier, I like that it has enough storage capacity and if you do not have enough space you can buy larger capacities.

Cons

Being a cloud service, it is necessary to be constantly connected to be able to work with it, which limits the options to work offline, it is only impossible to work or edit files if you do not have an internet connection.

Through the Drive application, I can receive or share my files, and also save a group of files with a common subject within a folder, thus facilitating dealing with those files. I can also save and share files in different formats, such as images, PDF files, drawings, and sometimes programs.

Pros

I liked some things about it: First, reading some files or seeing pictures without having to download them, and also sending them to my friends and employers. The possibility of merging a large number of files within a folder, especially if the files are dedicated to a specific topic Drive deals with many file formats, such as Word, PDF, JPG, IMG, and links, which shortens the addition of many programs. It also works through Windows, Android, Mac, and the App Store.

Cons

The disadvantages of this application are that it is difficult to arrange folders and files in it, and it also does not work at low internet speeds. In addition, it takes a long time to open the file through it, which forces me to download the file and open it through another program. It also has limited download capacity, which forces me to create multiple accounts

The simple solutions for Internal teams

Overall, Google Drive is user-friendly, easy to onboard, and easy to manage for our internal team....

Overall, Google Drive is user-friendly, easy to onboard, and easy to manage for our internal team. The biggest challenge lies in working with external clients and partners.

Pros

Google Drive makes it easy for our team to collaborate on work, keep our files organized, and find what we need when we need it.

Cons

With the rollout of Shared Drives, we have had some challenges migrating content from My Drive to Shared Drives because of what we do. As an agency, we work with external clients, so the ability to grant access, share, and collaborate isn't as seamless as we'd like.

I also wish there was an option for creating Shared Drive templates. For example, we have a specific folder structure we use for new clients, and it would be nice to launch that from a template versus the workaround we created for it.

Overall, my experience with Google Drive has been positive. It’s easy to use, keeps my files safe, and lets me access them from anywhere. I like how I can share and work on files with others in real time. However, the limited free storage and occasional upload delays can be frustrating. Despite that, it’s a reliable tool for managing my files.

Pros

Google Drive is great because it offers free storage and keeps my files safe. I can access my files from any device and easily share them with others. It works well with Google tools like Docs and Sheets, so I can edit and collaborate in real time. I can also buy more storage if need.

Cons

I find some cons of Google Drive: It needs an internet connection to work fully, and the free storage fills up quickly. Sometimes, large files take time to upload or download. If I forget my password, accessing my files can be tricky. Also, sharing files with others can be confusing if I don’t set permissions correctly.

Overall, the experience with Google Drive has been extremely positive. As I work in my unit and collaborate with teammates, we collaborate in almost an instant on documents and policies. It excels when you are a part of different cross-functional teams, expediting your ability to find each group's hub and the work that requires your attention.

Pros

What I like most about Google Drive is the ability to have documents sync across various devices and how seamless it is to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Cons

While a host of other platforms integrate with Google Drive, it works best when professionals fully utilize the Google Suite for content creation. The ability to navigate among different groups and store content works best that way.

I love Google drive as it provides a free solution to the personal user cloud data storage problem and also serves commerical organisations with different plans. Overall my experience has been wonderful.

Pros

The ease with which we can create multiple folders and label them. The sharing features are very helpful too for collaborative environment where we can easily share files with the possibility of providing privileges of different levels.

Cons

When the data is huge and more complex then the number of folders can be overwhelming and less efficient method of organising. If there would have been a method of colour coding the different categories or meta tagging then things could have been easier and more efficient.

- My overall experience with Google drive is positive. I like the product and will continue using it for the foreseable future.

Pros

- You can get upto 15GB free cloud storage from google drive. If you decide to upgrade for more space, the monthly charges are affordable. The package I currently use is like %2.5 for 100GB of space. This space is enough to store all my documents safely in the cloud.
- Google drive works seemlesly with other google products like google sheets, google docs, google calendar, gmail and other google products that we already use and are familiar with.
- The automatic syncing of files into google drive on my computer is pretty awesome and gives me confidence and peace of my mind that all my updates have been saved into the cloud.

Cons

- The free 15GB can be quickly filled up with old emails which can be hard to delete because no one wants to loose data and therefore you will be forced to upgrade to the paid version sooner or later - which not everyone can afford.
- You must always have internet connectvity to use google drive. This may not be a viable option for everyone.
