> **Pros**: The availability and freedom to have a usable phone number. Great in a pinch, for those moments when you need to have contact, and regular cellular service isnt available, or absent.

> **Cons**: Like most free to use programs, there are a lot of advertisements. Also you eventually have to pay for credits that get used even if a call or text isn't necessarily completed.

> Usual cell phone was OOS temporarily and i needed to keep in communication with family and work while figuring things out. Text free was exactly what i needed.

> **Cons**: The option to get a verification text was kind of a let down so I couldn’t use it to verify emails or log ins however now with the premium version that amenity is provided

> Excellent\! I’ve had to use this app multiple times over the years. Easy as signing up with your email and picking a number. Sometimes a previous number I’ve used will be an option and my old messages are actually still saved so that’s kind of neat.

> **Cons**: My TextFree App keeps, during calls forcing the speakerphone on and I have been trying to reach out to them for a year now and they never respond. I tried all the trouble shooting possible on my end and nothing works. I can lay my phone on the table with out even touching it and the speaker phone turns on and off causing my ears to burst with pain. Contacting Samsung next but I really think it has to do with the developer of the app and maybe google....
