I love pretty much everything about Ecamm, the software, the community, the production, the FB group support, and the quality is amazing, you can truly set up a super high quality production for such a small amount of investment, highly recommend!

The initial learning curve is challenging, and sometimes you have to dig deep to find out why something isn't working the way you want it to, but mostly that's part of the learning curve again.

I love the fact that it's so customizable. You can put text and images pretty much anywhere you want, you can resize the dimensions of the video that you are streaming, and of course that you can save these as templates and hop from one set up screen to another set up. I also love that you can share screen so I can share my drawings and Keynotes and pretty much anything else that's on my computer screen. You can even resize the bubble of your videoed face with the picture-in-picture mode.

I wish that they would give their past one-time subscribers the option to buy just the Ecamm Live Interview feature. The current feature that you have to do with Skype (note that I'm using the version of Ecamm which just needed to be bought one time) doesn't seem to work well, we had problems with audio and such and had to switch to Zoom. I also dislike that their screen capturing set up isn't that well done... when I switch to stream my Keynote slides, there would be 0.1s blackouts.

I also really dislike that my whole computer slows down when Ecamm is running. The means that when I try to draw on a drawpad, my drawings become slow and sluggish. That doesn't happen with Zoom or other software like Be.Live.

I like all of the features of the software.

This software is not moderately priced like its competitors.

Ease of use is top notch. There's nothing more important than being able to run the show easily while also performing and Ecamm is by far the easiest. Working it becomes second nature.

These are dislikes, just some ideas. I absolutely love the software.

1. Member Super Chats should be highlighted just like regular Super Chats.
2. More than just 2 audio input options.
3. When using the audio monitor feature, the latency is really bad, making it impossible for a guest to talk and hear themselves at the same time because of the delay.
4. I would like to have more than 1 audio monitor option.
5. It would be cool if the software generated how much money each user has spent on the channel similar to the feature on OBS.
6. I would love it if the software could keep a hard copy of the chat during live sessions.
7. This might be really complicated and I'm not even sure if it's possible, but it would be awesome if there was a way to communicate with callers during the show and screen them before the host puts them on.
A way a different person could screen them first.
8. It would be great if there was a way to view a different scene independently while the stream is going. For example, there are times when I start the show and there is a intro video going, but it would be cool if I could see myself on camera before I switch to that scene. Right now you can't monitor a scene without it broadcasting.

I absolutely love Ecamm, these are just some ideas that I get from using the software.

Learning to use Ecamm was easy and intuitive, unlike OBS. When I had questions during the learning phase, I could almost always find my answers simply by playing with it. In those rare situations where an answer didn't show up quickly, I found incredible help resources on the Ecamm website, YouTube, and a very active user community.

The power and flexibility of the software, with all input sources being handled the same way, allowing for very flexible overlays and dynamic presentations has greatly enhanced my online presentations.

I'd love to have the option of keying on custom colors. There are times that green screen is limiting.

The integration into Zoom and all this rogue amoeba are a breeze and just work. The whole setup-process is intuitive and fun. This is not just a software it is a very active and alive community with help on all channels only remotely connected to the software (image compostition, any hardware/software connection issue, questions about setup and so many tipps and videos and live casts to get you on a another level). New features are constantly added -there is a beta branch and direct contact to developers.

The price is steep for someone who is starting a startup and wants to tap into the live streaming world.

Ecamm Live allows us to produce a high-quality video production. Also, a fantastic, giving community on FB that helps you do all that you want to do.

Right now, it is missing an easy "guest" integration. However, I understand they are working on a built-in system and there are a couple of decent workarounds.

I’m able to create custom acenes and overlays that enhance my keyboard students’ grasp of important musical and technical concepts.

At times the feature I’m trying to access isn’t found intuitively, though most of the interface is very thoughtfully designed.

The ability to go Live prerecord multi stream were just great. Then add in interview mode that is a different level. I still haven't had a chance to explore everything but I plan on it.

Don't have to many. As one who relies on using streaming services I needed everything Ecamm provides so I dont have any cons because the cons were not having Ecamm 10 years ago

Ecamm is so easy to setup and use. Going live can be stressful enough. This product takes the pressure off the producer with all its great features.

There isn't anything I don't like about Ecamm.

Ecamm Live is very versatile which means I can use it for simple solo broadcasts or for streams with multiple guests and even add pre-recorded video content to my stream. I can customize the stream with graphics, overlays, widgets and simple animations. The virtual camera option is another feature I can't live without.

The biggest con for Ecamm Live is amount of real estate it takes up on the screen for someone that only has one monitor or uses a smaller screen. This can cause a bit of confusion at times when trying to organize the windows.

There is just so much I like. It's super easy to use. You can broadcast in a professional manner after watching a few video tutorials. Never got there with software like OBS for example. And Virtual cam. It's so much fun to use the virtual cam in video meeting software like Teams or Zoom. The integration with stream deck allows you to use multiple cams, to share presentations, use a "pauze, be back in - with timer - " screen, etc etc. Very useful for teaching for example.

Nothing, really. It's just great. But I'll try to find something. :p

I 've used just about every Live streaming platform available and when all was said and done only ECAMM delivers. The best part is it's easy to learn and more importanly it is the most reliable.

I've had little to no problems as the software is constantly updated with features and improvements.

Ecamm Live is one of the very few pieces of software I describe as ‘indispensable’. As an online keynote speaker, I use it every day. It’s an incredibly powerful and sophisticated, yet easy to use app which enhances my online presence hugely.

Nothing, it works so seamlessly that there’s nothing to dislike.
