I use Nakivo to backup AWS istances from a region to another and works very well.
It is easy to use and configure.

Excellent product and outstanding customer support. I've been using it for two years across four different locations, and the few issues I've encountered were promptly resolved by the highly responsive technical support team. Performance is good, and the features are comprehensive for my needs.

While it may be considered somewhat basic compared to some competitors, I have no complaints about its functionality.

The most important thing is the reliability of this tool. It has saved me several times in my work.

I don't see any disadvantages of NAKIVO. For me it would be easier to have backups in the form of easily transferable files than a complicated repository, but of course I appreciate functionality and reliability above all.

Nakivo is the best cost-effective solution for Backup & Replication on the market. The installation and configuration is quick and easy: we connect and integrate our environment in a few clicks. The support is great, kind and fast. A really amazing alternative to Veeam.

I have no significant issues with the product; it meets all my expectations and works flawlessly.

Self-hosted, all necessary parts included, no subscriptions, flexible data retention and storage system, what's not to like?

Hyper-V automatic restoration will need some polishing. With Vmware throwing the clients under the bus, that is a necessary and hopefully to be addressed soon part.

Ability to do cloud backups, with different providers. The product is dependable with all the features of much more expensive products. Support is excellent.

For big environments, don't like the snapshot method of doing backups, but for medium/small customer it is an excellent fit.

The availability of friendly and helpful support staff. Along with the versatility of the software in virtual and "bare-metal" environments, what gives me the most peace of mind is that I know I can always rely on a support team to help me when there are problems I cannot solve just by consulting the help pages.

Sometimes the documentation is not very clear to me - but again, support was always ready to step in and help when I couldn't make sense of the knowledge base. One addition I would like to see is to be able to encrypt data before it reaches a public cloud repository. This is unfortunately only possible in a few situations, and generic object storage is not among them.

Nakivo is a very user-friendly backup solution. Installation is no problem for a reasonably trained system administrator. The use is more or less self-explanatory, but of course there is also a very good manual and an equally good knowledge base that leaves nothing to be desired. The support, which I have only had to use once in five years, is also very competent.

There is really nothing which i do not like.

It is running under linux, therefore you can deploy it really fast. The Director and Transporter paradigm makes it convinient to set up in different environments, from air gapped clusters, to edge servers and more.

It does not support RBD as a storage repository out of the box, I am still waiting on that option to be available.

The ease of use of installing Nakivo and good the support was while we where installing it.

If you look on your repository itself outside of Nakivo you can't see which back-up is which. Which can be annoying when you wanna delete or move some files from repository to repository.

Really good interface to schedule backups. Regular updates/alerts via email.

Current issue between server and client box meaning replication not working. Should be solved with an update.

It is easy to backup and restore. It is cheaper than the other.
