> **Pros**: -The interface was easy to use.&#10;-The registration page was aesthetically pleasing.&#10;-Email templates were great and customizable.&#10;-Notifications were also easy to use.&#10;The updates were simple.&#10;-Overall registration setup was easy and customized to our needs.&#10;-Having Matti Holdridge on site. She was with us from start to finish for the entire project, including setup, cleanup, and troubleshooting.&#10;-The badges and lanyards that we designed were of supreme quality.&#10;-The registration process for our attendees on site was so easy and seamless.

> **Cons**: Although we had a fabulous project manager who did everything, we did need to reach out to her every time, as the backend was not easy to navigate without detailed instructions. While we appreciate having a project manager, having an overview training session on each feature would have been nice. This way, the project manager wouldn't always depend on our timeline. As a small staff, it's sometimes easier to do a few things independently and then have the team edit.&#10;&#10;Additionally, our daily schedule was put in as sessions instead of an agenda. We needed to be able to scan our attendees in only once per day, and it was hard at the event to find the correct session daily. &#10;&#10;Each aspect of vFairs was customizable, which is great; as I said, we have a small office, so for certain features, it would have been nice to have templates to choose from or be advised ahead of time that because each aspect is customizable and needs to be built out, requires specific attention and a certain amount of time. Hence, a needs list for all features with a timeline for implementation. I would have planned better if I understood it better.

> **Pros**: The sales and service promises made before the event sounded very convincing. The team acted as if they knew how to support a live event.&#10;&#10;The parts of the platform that we could access ourselves worked, but only a small portion of the platform was available to us.

> **Cons**: It took 6 weeks to sign a contract with vFairs.&#10;&#10;Every part of the platform out of our direct control broke on the day of the event. Sessions did not start on time, wrong versions of session videos were played, users were unable to access chat rooms, exhibitor booths weren't working.&#10;&#10;We had complaints about the day-of-event help desk support from attendees in email, on social media, and within the event chat itself.&#10;&#10;Project management was poor: multiple contracted features were only set up after the end of the live event or not at all.&#10;&#10;Training is poor; the vendor used other events currently in production to show us functionality and did not have materials that we could share with exhibitors and attendees.&#10;&#10;Response time is poor: we've spent almost two weeks waiting for a response to our current issues with no answers to missing features and functions.

> After spending weeks preparing for a live 8 AM launch, the platform was not ready on the day of the event. Presenters couldn't get into booths, attendees couldn't get into sessions, the majority of our attendees left.&#10;&#10;As things were breaking at 8 AM, our dedicated support person left us, leaving us to re-explain our situation mutiple times.&#10;&#10;Nobody ever explained what went wrong with the event, leaving our event team with no answers for the attendees. 3 weeks later, still no explanation.&#10;&#10;We signed up and paid for multiple functionalities that never got set up, including chat rooms accessible from the booths, a leaderboard. There's no process to ensure that you get what you paid for.&#10;&#10;The lesson I learned from this experience: Expect to be abandoned on the day of the event. We would have been better off with a platform that worked. vFairs is still overwhelmed and struggles to deliver on what it promises.

> **Cons**: The backend reporting. With Stova, we were able to pull reports to see who was sent the registration invite and more easily edit registrations,  if need be.

> The product is a 4 but my experience is a 5\! \[sensitive content hidden\] answered all of our questions, and we had a lot of them, and quickly implemented any requests we made that were possible within vFairs capabilities.
