Dayforce HCM Reviews

Dayforce does everything we need it to do: payroll, tax calculations, workforce management, time and attendance, document management. It's an incredibly powerful platform for managing and serving our employee population, and integrates well with other software platforms and applications including ERPs.

The implementation process required a level of resource commitment (both financial and personnel) that we weren't prepared for, so the timeline from kick-off to go-live had to be extended several times. The implementation ended up costing double what was budgeted, and took six more months than expected.

Dayforce is very reliable and it updates on time. I love all the information I have access to through Dayforce as well.

There is nothing I dislike about Dayforce.

All in one application from recruiting to onboarding to payroll. Allows us to streamline processes.

Severe limitations to the recruiting feature.

The customer service is outstanding- the ability to pick up the phone and get immediate response to a problem is appreciated

The Tax responses are delayed - takes too long for amendments and responses to advices unless escalated

One-stop place to access employee pay information.

The app freezes up or doesn't work properly at least 1-2 times a month.

User friendly - generally our processes integrate well with the functionality available

Some things that should be free are billable, such as using a standard system generated form and not having access to edit it without paying

I liked most about Dayforce HCM the ability to pay people on time and accurately.

The thing I like least about Dayforce HCM is how often it errors out and kicks me from the application.

How quickly it shows upcoming paychecks and the ability to deposit them early

Some of the navigation on the app is a little confusing - like finding PTO info

Reports -its a love hate thing but the best

Flexibility and constant innovation. The software is intuitive but does need IT/Financial Analyst support to really have it set up well.

Some things that should be included in the software (basic reports) require that you pay for customization. Not a big fan of the transition from implementation to support. The hand off is very abrupt.

The ease of use. The robust system capabilities.

When there are latency issues, it become difficult to be efficient.

The ACA reporting and benefits management.

Not very user friendly on the employee side.

The ability to configure changes within the application for our organization.

Dayforce Tax Services does a poor job of partnering with clients. The system does not naturally respect tax jurisdiction reciprocity rules.

The live payroll information. Being able to see a moment in time pay check. No wait needed.

The color, it's all white and it gets a little to bright. We need an option to switch to dark mode.

Dayforce has many great features. The HUB is a great new additional in the last 2 years. It provides a great place to house important information easily. Onboarding is really nice and streamlined. It is easy to navigate and set up. If you have the Onboarding HUB, visibly it provides a new start to the candidate experience. I have worked with the Performance and Compensation module the last 3 years and it has a lot of neat functionality and pretty easy to navigate.

Dayforce is very technical. It is nice to know you can build customize forms but not coming from an IT background, trying to learn SQL has been a challenge. There are a lot of nice reports but it is very challenging to set up certain reports utilizing custom fields. Dayforce is constantly enhancing their products but continually to have to pay for each new enhancement the majority of the time is challenging especially coming from a Non-Profit world when we already utilize most of the system.

Seamless transition between recruiting to hiring to onboarding to scheduling to payroll. It all works well together.

Dayforce has some limitations for our company but there is always the ability to make suggestions for improvement.

It's reliability and the ease of use made it the number one choice for us . payroll,tracking, onboarding all in one dashboard no more struggles.They have a jubilant spirit of customer service,they are always willing to go for extra miles to sustain their users needs.

Workflows and HR management system is one of the best I've used.

Support can take a bit of time. Experience level of reps varies widely.

I love the possibilities of Dayforce. If you have the right partner, you can literally have it do whatever you want.

I dislike the way our system was built from implementation. It's basically a spiderweb behind the scenes.

Dayforce is an entirely capable product with excellent module flexibility and capability. Dayforce also gives the user ownership and control to customize the product as they prefer for their organization.

The recruiting module could use some overall improvement.

The routine basics of setting up payroll including any adjustments for each pay period works smoothly. The audit features in the system highlight issues that should be looked at more closely before committing the pay. I like the export feature within the payroll process and use it to complete most analyses needed.

Other than standard reports, I feel that creating specialized reports has too many complications. I also think that adding/editing the General Ledger setup is too complex.
